客家擂茶

擂茶即是其客家人主食之一,也是客家药食。擂茶其主要原料是茶叶、加上炒熟的花生、芝麻、薄荷等,这些东西放入擂钵中擂碎。且擂茶含低卡路里、低脂肪、少盐及少糖。更含高纤维、丰富维他命、抗氧。擂茶相似与日本的茶泡饭(茶漬け)。擂茶有一种独到的保健功效。擂茶有生津止渴、防风祛寒、开胃健脾、清热解毒、清肝明目、润肤美容、少病少痛、减肥、降血压、延年益寿之功效。故有俗谚说:“喝擂茶,吃粑粑,壮身体,乐哈哈。”

Lei cha (擂茶; lěi chá; literally "pounded tea")

Lei Cha is a very important part of Hakka cuisine and traditional medicine. Lei Cha consist of a mix of tea leaves that are ground or pounded together with various roasted nuts, seeds, herbs and etc. Lei cha is low in calorie, low fat, low salt and low sugar, yet high in fibre, vitamins, and high calcium.It is somewhat similar to the Japanese Chazuke(茶漬け).
